The Vols are also 11-19 O/U as favorites and 5-10 O/U in non-conference games, so I like another low-scoring affair here to top off this parlay.

Dan Karpuc: UConn ML & Michigan State ML (+180, Bet365)

I expect UConn to beat Arkansas and Michigan State to take down Kansas State to earn Elite 8 appearances. UConn’s depth should be too much for Arkansas to deal with and I’ve been very impressed with Dan Hurley’s in-game coaching adjustments so far in the tournament. Think I’m fading Tom Izzo and Michigan State in March? Think again. Kansas State ranks 40th in Adjusted Tempo, per KenPom, so they like to play fast. Izzo will likely gameplan around that and look to establish a slower pace that will require his opponents to operate in the half court offensively. The Spartans rank 302nd in Adjusted Tempo this year, so they’re much more comfortable slowing things down. I expect MSU to take KSU out of their comfort zone and capitalize en route to the Elite 8.

: Tennessee ML & UCLA ML (+152, FanDuel) 

Tennessee might just be the most physical team left in the tournament, and that’s saying something given that UConn is still in the field. The Vols pushed a very good Duke team around on Saturday and they did it without their best player, Zakai Zeigler. Tennessee will have its hands full trying to slow down one of the smallest, but quickest teams in the country in FAU, yet I’m confident they can do that.

Meanwhile, UCLA is going to want to get revenge over Gonzaga after they lost to the Zags in the 2021 Final Four. For those that might not remember, Jalen Suggs hit a half-court shot at the buzzer in overtime to send Gonzaga to the national championship. With a number of players from that game still on this year’s UCLA team, the Bruins surely haven’t forgotten that moment.

: Gonzaga ML & UConn ML (+241, Bet365)

I have both Gonzaga and UConn moving on to the Elite Eight to play each other in my bracket, so I see excellent value in parlaying these moneylines here for some extra value. UConn just took down St. Mary’s, 70-55, and Gonzaga edged out TCU, 84-81. And with Gonzaga as slight underdogs, there is some great value in combining these two to both win.

: Michigan State ML & Tennessee ML (+151, Caesars)

Kansas State was outplayed by Kentucky, but a few lucky 3-pointers from a poor shooter in Markquis Nowell (34% 3P FG) made for an improbable win. Kentucky dominated them on the boards, out-rebounding K-State by 20, while also destroying them in second-chance points by 14. If Antonio Reeves, UK’s best deep shooter, hadn’t gone 1-for-15 from the field, it’s an easy Kentucky win. That’s why No. 7 Michigan State is a favorite over the No. 3 Wildcats. Tennessee is not a team I like to back, but the defense should be enough to end FAU’s run here in the Sweet 16. The Vols got a really fortunate draw in this tourney.
